This Rak Yon Effigies Spirit amulet is released by Wat Bang Phra temple and is well-known for its power. The expertise of the Wat Bang Phra shrine monks is famous for creating tattoos and is known all over Thailand. The shrine is located in the Nakhon Chai Si region, 50 km west of Bangkok. Rak Yom is helpful with the opposite sex and makes those who approach feel friendly and helpful towards you. Those without a partner will find their companioning life. Rak Yom was hand-carved from the wood of a sacred tree. This kind of tree is considered to possess powerful magic and to have an inhabiting Deva Spirit dwelling within the wood. This makes such carved religious wooden effigies so influential in how they work their magical power through the Inhabiting Deva. This Rak Yom effigy bestows strong protection against all types of physical danger and accidents and protection from weapons and evil spirits. 

Rak Yom is very similar to Kuman Thong. Both are the holy spirits of young boys, yet there are some differences between the materials used and the consecration process. Both of them are made for the same purposes. Rak Yok promotes good Metta - Maha Niyom (Interpersonal relationship and loving kindness) and even attraction.
