Phra Nak Prok Buddha amulet was very popular with the local folk in Thailand. This amulet is released by Wat Pikulthong temple, located in Singburi Province. Phra Nak Prok is a Buddha image of the day of protection, sitting in Samadhi "Concentrative Meditation" position, with cross-legged and overlapping hand with palm facing upward, protected from the heavy rain and storm by the Naga King (King Cobra) with his 7 Naga heads. Naga is the name of God, taking the form of a very great snake. Phra Nak Prok – the Saturday Buddha in this position is recommended to the one who was born on Saturday, and it's also suitable for anyone who has faith in the amulet.

People from the social spectrum have held the common belief that this Phra Nak Prok Buddha amulet could ensure its owners with protective power, attract wealth, and good health, prevent any danger, and other successes in life. It has gone through an eye-opening ceremony (religion) and is consecrated by the mass monk of decent temples.
