This amulet of Buddha Images for Each Day of the Week is released from Wat Intharaviharn temple in Bangkok, also called Wat Inn, of the late Ayutthaya Kingdom, when it was called Wat Bang Khunphrom Nok for the name of the suburb where it is located. The temple is at the northern edge of the Banglamphu area of Phra Nakhon, Bangkok.
The royal temple, categorized as Class III, was built at the beginning of the Ayutthaya Kingdom and was originally called Wat Rai Phrik, a "Vegetable farms temple." It was so named as vegetable farms surrounded it. The land where the temple is situated was provided by King Rama I to accommodate prisoners of war.
During King Vajiravudh, it was refurbished by Chao Intharwong; after that, it was known as Wat Intharavihan. This amulet can be obtained only at the temple grounds at the Wat Inn amulet counter. This Buddha Birth Day amulet comes with the original temple box.

The city of Vesali was tormented by three evils: poverty, cholera, and devils. Devils were roaming the city, feasting on dead bodies and even people. The King of Vesali was advised to seek the Buddha's help. Accepting the invitation, the Buddha, with company, arrived at Vesali. With his transcendental powers, he caused heavy rain to pour down, so severe that it cleaned the city of all dead bodies and uncleanliness.
Later, his disciple Ananda went around the city, reciting portions of the Tipitaka and sprinkling lustral water around the city. Humans were healed, while all devils were frightened and fled the city. (This Image is Similar to the Image for stopping the relatives from fighting.)
