This amulet of Luang Phor Tuad (LP Tuad), is released by Wat Sai Khao, located in Pattani Province. In early history, there is a great monk in the temple named Archan Nong. At an earlier time, Wat Sai Khao temple was just an ordinary Buddhist temple mainly to serve the local villager’s religious and spiritual needs. Archan Nong decided to organize and conducts Buddhist events by raising funds from local villagers and devotees to carry out maintenance and renovate the existing Uposatha (Shrine) Hall, which is the most important building in the monastery. This is where ordinations and other official acts of the Order take place, and the Buddha images, are located for the benefit of the public. In order, to develop the qualities of Loving Kindness, Compassion, Sympathetic, and Equanimity. During Archan Nong supervision Wat Sai Khao has become a popular temple in Southern Thailand. His name will be respected eternally not only by the locals’ folks in Pattani, but to all of Thailand and many international devotees.
Archan Nong is most famous for making the amulets of LP Tuad, of which he has created over 40 different editions during his lifetime. He is a Great Master in Southern Thailand. Most of his amulets were empowered with holiness. Because of his consecrate prayer and meditation power, his LP Tuad amulet is reputed to be the most popular amulet among Buddhist collectors. People knew that the amulets of Archan Nong are very famous for protecting the owner from accidents and evil spirits. Archan Nong amulet, with the image of LP Thud, is also very famous and has been gaining popularity not only in Thailand, and also in the neighbouring countries such as Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, China and between various countries. It is clearly recorded that LP Tuad is an Arahant, and Thais folks named him as "God of Vehicles". Almost every house will enshrine an LP Tuad statue, carry or placed one in their car.
Wat Sai Khao was built in the year 1757. According to the history of Wat Sai Khao, Mr Than Pakdichumpol donated the land and money to build the temple. Wat Sai Khao established in 1889 and passed the Pook Pattasima ceremony in 1892. After the construction of Wat Sai Khao, six abbots have taken up residence, the first one was Luang Phor Man, and the other is Luang Phor Peng and a direct disciple of Archan Nong. Wat Sai Khao has been continuously developed with many buildings renovated such as Shrine hall, library, monks' residences etc. Archan Nong was one of two famous monks who are famous for making the amulet of Luang Phor Tuad and Wat Chang Hai the other famous monk was the late Phra Archan Tim. Eventually, Archan Nong passed away on September 11th, 2000, at Kokbhoti hospital. He passed away in the year 2000 on 11th September at the age of 80 years old. He spends 60 years devoted to Buddhism.
