Luang Phor Phat (LP Phat) is a renowned monk in Thailand for his knowledge of mantras and magic for producing the most popular and powerful amulets. LP Phat is the abbot of the Wat Than Thahan temple, also known as Wat Huai Duan, where he has resided. LP Phat was born on May 12, 1922 at Ban Sa Talay, Yan Matsee Subdistrict, Phayuha Khiri District, Nakhon Sawan Province. He was ordained in 1946 at the Ubosot of Wat Sa Talay temple in his hometown by Phra Thamma Trilokachan (Luang Por Yod).
LP Phat, the abbot of Wat Huai Duan Temple, is the adviser of Than Thahan Subdistrict in Nong Bua District, Nakhon Sawan Province. LP Phat is a guru monk who inherited Phuttakom from Luang Phor Derm, Luang Phor Tes of Wat Sa Thale, Luang Phor In of Wat Hang Nam Sakhon, Luang Phor Ink of Wat Sa Thale, and Luang Phor Moth of Wat Khok Duea. Later on, with his studies, LP Phat became the close disciple of Luang Phor Derm, the Great Magic Master of Wat Nong Pho, who passed down his knowledge of mantras and magical spells when LP Phat was young.
LP Phat is believed to know Buddhist teachings through efficient aspects of protection and safety. LP Phat is currently one of the most admired guru monks with solid and effective amulets with excellent power protection to the wearer against danger. There is news regarding LP Phat. On 18th July 2014, the chapel of Wat Huai Duan caught fire around 3.00 am. The fire spread through the chapel and damaged everything except the wax figure for LP Phat, which was in good condition. This is one reason why his amulets are so popular and well-known. LP Phat passed away on 24th November 2023 at age 101 (77 years in monkhood).
