Luang Pu Kruba Na Chinawongso: The Seer of the Past.
Luang Pu Kruba Na Chinawongso is a monk known for his ability to foresee the future and was a close disciple of the renowned Kruba Khao Pi. Luang Pu is the biological younger brother of Luang Pu Sujai, a monk famed for his supernatural powers. Luang Pu Kruba Na was a highly respected, high-ranking monk from the northern Lanna tradition (Lamphun Province). He was famous for his simple, humble lifestyle on the mountain (Doi E-Ui) a direct lineage disciple of the legendary Kruba Srivichai (the greatest saint of Northern Thailand).
A Life of Devotion.
For the better part of his life, Luang Pu has worn the saffron robes and followed the teachings of Kruba Srivichai. He had the merit of meeting Kruba Srivichai back when Luang Pu was ordained as a novice alongside his elder brother, Novice Jai (who has since passed away). Kruba Na passed away in late 2016 shortly after this batch was released, making his 2016 items highly sought after as some of his final blessings.
Luang Pu Kruba Na dedicated himself to serious Dhamma practice and the study of sacred arts. He went on forest pilgrimages (Thudong) with Kruba Khao Pi, whom he affectionately refers to as "Kruba Por" (Father Kruba). Today, he resides at the Kruba Khao Pi Monument on Doi E-Hui.
The Power of Meditation.
On many occasions, disciples who travel to pay respects find that Luang Pu is "invisible" or absent for periods of 3 to 7 days. This is attributed to the power of his meditative attainments (Jhana-Samapatti). He enters a state of Nirodha-Kamma (a profound meditative cessation) to purify his body, speech, and mind and to radiate merit to help sever the bad karma of his followers. This meditative practice follows the traditional Lanna lineage passed down from Kruba Srivichai and Kruba Khao Pi.
