Chuchok, by Luang Pu Hong Prompanyo, Wat Phetburi, Surin Province. Edition: "Perm Sap Perm Suk" (Increasing Wealth and Happiness) Year 2553 BE / 2010 CE.
The primary purpose of creating this edition was to raise funds for the construction of an archway (entrance gate) to honor the revered teachers and enable disciples and devotees to easily travel to pay respects to Luang Pu at his cremation ground (Wat Phetburi) in Thung Nong Mon. This archway is intended to be a gate of great merit, fortune, destiny, and vast wealth. Therefore, it presented an excellent opportunity for disciples to participate in accumulating merit.
This edition was created to commemorate Luang Pu Hong Prompanyo's 92nd birthday, which fell on February 28, 2553 BE (2010 CE). The "Perm Sap Perm Suk" (Adding Wealth, Adding Happiness) sacred amulets received a grand Buddhābhiṣeka (blessing ceremony) and empowerment on Saturday, March 20, 2553 BE (2010 CE). This date coincided with the 5th day of the waxing moon in the 5th month (Sao Ha), a highly auspicious astrological alignment.
During the ceremony, sacred incantations (mantras) were imbued, and the four elements (earth, water, wind, fire) were invoked and imbued into the holy objects. This rigorous process ensures the completeness, sanctity, power, and correctness of the amulets according to tradition. The intention is for those who respect and have faith in Luang Pu Hong Prompanyo to have these amulets for worship, to carry with them, or to keep at home, so they may live in peace and happiness, be safe from all dangers, achieve prosperity in their careers, become wealthy in business, and attain all their wishes.
Chuchok is considered a type of charm or amulet, and it is known as the ultimate charm for requesting or asking for things. He is the old beggar named "Chuchok" who was born to be the counterpart to Prince Vessantara Bodhisattva, in the dynamic of "the requester" and "the giver."
From the story, Chuchok was a beggar who accumulated immense wealth and had a beautiful young wife. Reaching into this legend, revered monks and masters created magical disciplines (Saiwet Wicha) that could bestow luck, wealth, and abundant charm (metta mahaniyom), ensuring completeness in provisions and consumables. According to belief, Chuchok is revered as someone with great charm, abundant fortune, and a constant supply of food, shelter, and attendants. It is believed that whatever he asks for, people readily give, serving as an impetus for generosity. He is seen as a selfless figure in that he received from others to give.
To further enhance its blessings, consistently worship and meditate with the Chuchok Mantra:
"Na-bon-haa, Mo-hen-naa-gor-orn-jai, Poot-yu-mi-dai, Tan-ong-gor-ai-ho, Mai-po,, Ya-maa-haa-goo, Poot-toh-la-luay, Tum-moh-la-luay, Sang-koh-la-luay,"
- For your convenience, an MP4 format of the Katha chanting is provided with your purchase.

Blessings from the Mantra:
Blessing holy water with this mantra and sprinkling it on goods for sale enhances the Buddhakun (power of the Buddha). This practice improves sales, makes you charming to those who see you, brings good fortune, and ensures that elders show great kindness and affection.
