This amulet of Archan Nong image is released by Wat Sai Khao temple, located in Pattani Province. Wat Sai Khao temple was built in 1757 (B.E. 2300) by the most valuable donations among the Buddhist devotees from near and far. In its earliest day, Wat Sai Khao temple was just an ordinary Buddhist temple mainly to serve the local villager’s religious and their spiritual need. In order to develop the qualities of Metta (Loving Kindness), Karuna (Compassion), Mudita (Sympathetic) and Upekkha (Equanimity). During Archan Nong supervision where Wat Sai Khao temple has become popular in Southern Thailand. Moreover, he also organized and conducts Buddhist events by raising funds to maintain and renovates the existing Uposatha Hall, Monk’s residences and the whole temple compound for the benefit of the public.
Archan Nong has his primary education at Na Pradu School and was ordained as a novice at the age of 19 at Wat Na Pradu School. Unfortunately, he has disrobed as a novice within a few weeks to help in his family's farm. When he reaches the age of 21, he once again ordains as a monk in 1939 at Wat Na Pradu School under Phra Kru Phiboon Samanawat preceptor-ship, and he was given the title of Phra Dhamma Bhutto. Archan Nong was appointed as chief abbot of Wat Sai Khao temple in 1968 and passed away on the 11 September 1999 (BE2542) at the age of 80. Archan Nong is famous for making Luang Phor Tuad (LP Tuad) amulets, of which he has created over 40 different editions. He is a Great Gaeji Master or Magical Lineage in Southern Thailand.
Most of his amulets were empowered with holiness. Because of his power of meditation and prayer, his LP Tuad amulet reputed to be the most popular amulet among Buddhist collectors. Peoples knew that the amulets of Archan Nong were incredibly and hard-to-believe as what is being said as he was still alive. Black copper was used to create this amulet in the year 2002 as a memorial amulet of Archan Nong sitting on the Narai Roop Takrut, make for the cremation ceremony of Archan Nong on Monday 20 May 2002. This batch of amulet is consecrated and considered as the last memorial for Archan Nong of Wat Sai Khao temple.
